I AM SO SAD! T___T
I did a paper by disgusting Yong Loo Lin (that's the sch of Med at NUS btw) and they practise NEGATIVE MARKING for their true/false qns. Basically almost the entire paper consisted of true/false qns.
Usually I would leave qns which I'm uncertain abt blank if there's negative marking involved but once I read some SATS guide saying no, you shd never leave it blank cos the probability of you getting it right is greater than the you getting it wrong and they even did some silly calculation to prove it.
Well the book was outdated and I did badly for SATS so why on earth did I trust it?? :(
Argh now Serena the experienced Med student says I shd hv left it blank cos the Med students who leave it blank score higher than those who take a risk and fill in answers.
I'm so dumbb.. T___T
I'm too scared to check the rest of my answers alr. But I think some qns that I risked, I got them right..though I'm also sure I got a lot more wrong.
Acks...usually I don't really care abt my grades if it's not for important promotional exams like the "O"s or "A"s but now my CAP is like horrendously low so I have to pull it up. And I think because of poor planning this GEM tt I'm doing is actually an EXTRA module.
I am so dumb. It cannot be emphasized further.
SIGH!
And and ...I'm SO ILL-DISCIPLINED I cannot stand it.
I hate myself now.

Hello...I always come here to distract myself when I have better things to do...
Never knew it was so hard to plan spaces and design entrances...welcoming entrances...entrances which subtly hint to the user that that's the entrance..what do I want???? T___T
Never had to take these into account because for the past year I'm been rushing my final design like...2 nights before the final submission??
Now that I have the opportunity to think abt such things...I wanna do it well!
Anyway, here's an example of how wuliao I am..I was searching the newspapers for an article suitable for my hopeless sociology assignment and I chanced upon this article about Singaporean parents getting riled up because they think the PSLE Math paper this year is too hard, as usual.
Apparently lots of PSLE students cried after their Math paper, so it must be quite devastating right, this paper? So The Straits Times got the students to provide a sample of the Math questions (cos MOE denied them the qns..and I really wonder how students can remember the exact qns and figures? That's so super amazing cos I will delete everything from my short term memory right after any paper)
So there were 3 qns..and I just had to try them to prove that I could do PSLE Math qns and I haven't totally forgotten my Math and bar diagrams after...8 years? I was quite scared to try them out at first (what if I really couldn't solve them??? So diu lian!) but I did.....and I got the right answers for all of them! YAY! Who cares if I used a calculator!
There was one 5 mark qn...which I was super confused abt at first but I managed to solve it in one step 0_o......5 marks for one step??
Anyway I shd retake my PSLE...maybe I'd end up in special stream or smth...jk haha!
Back to design!

Yay here's a short post because I haven't posted anything in the longest time..
Anyway updates yes...we've finally approached midsem break! The past half-sem had been spent designing and building plywood structures which was super sian at the beginning but got real fun at the end. I like our studio's structure (even if the tutors didn't)! It's really photogenic k...I'll post pics in the next post (if I feel like blogging)! If not, you could just survey the grounds over at engineering, technoedge and you'd see our plywood structures strewn all over the place. Ours is right beside technoedge on a hill..with ramps...felt that we could have done better at construction though if given more time..nvm it's still nice! It only LOOKS easy to build but so much work goes into making rafters and filing angles to make the ramps and walls okay! We all felt like punching the tutor who said our structure would win the "easiest-to-build award"...jk. And I think our structure is the only one which really provides a comfortable sitting area for the user la! Okay enough complaining...
Anw I feel such a great sense of pride looking at all the structures we have produced together as a cohort...I do think they spice up the landscape and gives students smth to talk abt! And thank God for his blessings that we were able to complete our structure!! In one night we went from 60% to 100% completion k! Miracle-workers, aki students are...
After being cut off from civilisation for so long...it was time to get in touch with non-aki pple. Met Lynn today after our lessons...we decided to go domesticated and budget. So we took a bus to cold storage to get cheapo ingredients (like herb and garlic sausages that only had 1 day of shelf-life left and were on promotion for $2-smth). We planned for main course (instant noodles with egg and sausages) + beverage (strawberry milkshake) + tea (microwave pizza which was to be eaten during our movie at my home)..
This is our main course...soup was too bland...the soon-to-expire sausages tasted great though! Added FOUR eggs to ONE packet of mee shared amongst me and lynn..so extravagant hahaha..but I love eggs in soupy noodles!

Not very sucessful we know.
But this is our SUCESSFUL strawberry milkshake!
Here's the recipe :
1 box of strawberries + half a blender worth of ice + 1 small tub of berries-flavoured yoghurt + some milk + much sugar = yummy strawberry milkshake
We dreamt up the recipe ourselves but I suppose tt's how everyone does it right? The colour's pretty!

See, even fussy Lynn likes it! Haha...
It was really great having the time to spend doing leisurely stuff like cooking up some nonsensical things and watching Peter Pan (Peter Pan is so cute!) whilst eating our nonsensical concoctions..wheeee! I need more days like today..

I have a sudden thought.
Every year when it comes to Christmastime, I never ever get down to sending any Christmas cards...cos I never have, hehheh, and because I'm just too lazy.
But I have friends (Serena, Lynn, Yun Xin, Yin Teng, Robyn, Christine, Adeline, Marcus, etc..sorry if I left anyone out) who send Christmas cards to me (every year or at some pt of time), despite my laziness to reply, hehheh...
So this year I am gg to return the favour!
Yes I dunno why this sudden thought but yea..
